my 40g breeder attached to the central filtration overflow failed. dumped some 40-50g of water in the family room. spent that last 2 days moving everything into the 210g(which was not suppose to be used until we actually moved to petulma) so that the carpet and floor could be cleaned. oh well,.., I guess a few more hurricanes will make the pain go away.

Sorry to hear that, it's sucks when things like that happen. Been there done that several time in the past. That's why my filtration system is in the garage.

That really sucks, it's always been one of my worries too having the whole setup in the living room.

I have a industrial carpet cleaner if you want to barrow it? When I broke my 72gallon octo tank it sucked maybe 55gallons out of the carpet the next day. I live in cotati if you want to pick it up . Pm me

Thanks, we had it done professionally, since we're selling out house and didn't want to leave room price reduction due to "perceived" neglect.

took 3-days to move everything. now everything is disconnected from the central filtertration system. but fish & corals are happy in the 210g (they think it is a vacation)

well, new tanks will now always have built-in overflows. HOB is an expensive risk.
