Mickie, That is all wonderful news. Good for Russell getting moved into his new home. Wow, that was fast :)
Great to hear that he is also doing well enough to get off the antifungal med.
We are really lucky in OH to have great docs to the north of us (Cleveland Clinic) and to the south--the docs at OSU.
We will continue to pray that he does so well.

Thanks Rita! We are indeed fortunate for the docs in our area! :)

Thanks Marc! Breathing is a good thing! ;)

I got a few goodies today! I got something for my reef tank and something for my FOWLR tank!

I got a Picasso trigger for the downstairs tank and a copper band butterfly fish for the reef. The lunar wrasse is really hitting the Picasso pretty hard. I finally just turned the lights out. It ate while still in the bucket drip acclimating. I fed the tank before and then a little more after. The Picasso was eating after it was in the tank! The wrasse was kicking it and yet it still continued to eat. I finally turned the lights out. I'm hoping it will give the wrasse a taste of it's own medicine tomorrow!

As for the CBB. I fed the reef before I put it in and then more after I out it in. It actually ate after it was introduced to the tank! However my yellow tang was chasing it around a bit I turned those lights off as well. I was really happy that it ate as soon as I put it in the tank.

Not the best pictures but it's what I could get with them new in the tank.

I'm hoping to have good luck with both! :) I was very pleased that the CBB ate as soon as he got in the tank. I just hope the yellow tang will settle down. He has never been an aggressive fish, until tonight...

Well, the picasso ate like a PIG today! He is running the tank! No more problems with him and the lunar wrasse. He is getting along with everyone else too.

The CBB ate a little today. The YT continues to chase her around but I don't think as bad as last night.

Good news on the CBB! Every time I've fed the tank she has eaten! Today she is really out and about and almost went to the middle of the tank with the others during feeding time. She did back off but tracked down some food and went at it! She is constantly picking at the rocks and I "think" she nipped at an aptasia a few times. All in all in thrilled! :D

The picasso trigger is running the tank and even fighting with the lunar wrasse for food. A much different scenario than Saturday. :)

Update on my Son: Well, he was off the antifungal antibiotics for 5 days and crashed for the first time since the first week of August. I talked to one of the nurses at Ohio State today and expect a call back tomorrow with what the Dr. wants to do. At least I was able to keep him out of the hospital this time. I did a 1 hour breathing treatment and have done several since yesterday morning. I also have an RX for a PRN antibiotic that I started him on yesterday morning. My guess is they will put him back on the antifungal antibiotic. He was on it for 2 months. I can't believe he went down so fast. :(

sorry to hear that Micki. being on antibiotics for long periods has got to take a toll on his system I would think.

Micki, So sorry to hear your son has had a relapse. Hoping he is better asap. Prayers will continue~

We are doing well --the tank is still going strong.
Have to update the thread when I get new livestock.
Could I have a CBB in my tank? I was thinking of a PBT and a Sailfin along with either a FoxFace Lo or CBB. Which would you suggest?

Thanks jnarowe. Yep, which is exactly why they wanted/needed to DC it. I'll be curious to see what they say tomorrow.

Thanks Rita, prayers are appreciated! :)

I had a PBT once. In fact had it for over 2 years. I moved it to the 150 FO tank because it was getting pretty mean. I lost it when that tank got sick. :( I would be hesitant to have a PBT and CBB together. The PBT can become mean as time goes on. I always thought mine was pretty minld and then one day... I think he would have killed any new fish I added.
