How does the fuge overflow? is that a siphon?

I've seen it, she used basically a homemade overflow type siphon.

gatohoser, We should never loose a siphon. The way the bends and height, (basically a closed loop system) are we should never loose the siphon. We have stopped and started a few times to simulate a power outage to see what would happen and it does fine.

Brandino007, Thank you, My 55 was packed full. I bought the entire set up contents and all and while I enjoyed the tank, I really wanted some space. I can not believe how much happier the fish seem in this tank!

We also bought a light for the fuge tonight. I'll take a picture of that and post later. We also put one set of actinics in the canopy today. It is beautiful tonight!!! The actinics were on my 55 so we had to wait to transfer those to the new tank. As luck would have it, One of the ballast to one set of actinics blew two days before we transfered tanks. We have a new one on the way. I did some re-aquascaping on one side today. I think it looks better. It covers the acrylic more than it did before. I'll take more pictures of the fuge with the light and actinics to post later.

Forgot to ask.....how are the fingers??

Well, I sliced my right index finger pretty good on one of the glass tank cover pieces! OUCH! Other than major dry hands (can't use too much lotion right now, have my hands in the tank too much) They aren't too bad. My arm is worse than anything, the two GBTA have stung me to no end!!! I did more work in the tank today and they again showed no mercy on my arm! It almost looks like I have poison ivy! It also itches tonight. Geeez, and to think I am only trying to better their life! lol

Mine didn't when they were small, Since they have grown, look out! My Frog Spawn got me on my cut today.
