Well I got all 3 lights on now. Still ghetto rigged but it works for now. The lights will be spread out a little more then the way they are now but even like this the 3 give good coverage.
Ultimately your tank building will become a an instructional/informational medium , and the tank itself, the envy and wonder of many. Professionally done! Bravo!
Well finished building the doors tonight. I know the neighbors love hearing the table saw, chop saw, and compressor running at 11:30-12:30. I still have to stain them but they are ready. Here's a picture.
I'm going to stain them tomorrow morning. I'll post pics of how they turn out. I also need to buy the baby proof pieces so my daughter can't get into the stand tomorrow. Lots of stuff for her to get into under there. My wife and daughter will be here Saturday. I can't wait. They will be here until January 29th. So we'll be a family for a month again. I can't wait. I'm going to take her to the next meeting so she can meet the people I talk to.
Home Depot is where I bought it. I put 2 coats of stain to get it as close to my kitchen cabinets as I can. The stain I bought is the one with the clear with the stain so it cuts out one step.
Yes, my daughter is 2 also and she is in everything. Also a big character. I can't wait to see her.
yup.. Carmen proof it.. I'm sure she would love pushing all the buttons on that aqua controller!.. at least the fish aren't in yet!!... "GOBIE!!!!".. LOL!!
DUDE! that stand is SWEET DUDE SWEEET!!!... I seriously thought you were gonna leave it RED NECK style with exposed 4x4's...(not that there's anything wrong with that!)
whats up steve? dominic shot me the link to your thread and I cant beleive how sick your new tank is!!! Actually I guess I can you have always had bad *** tanks...the trim really looks good on the stand!
Wow! You did a great job on that stand. You should quit your day job and go into skimmer and aquarium woodworking. You definitly have a knack for craftsmanship.
Thanks, Here's a picture from this morning with the lights on. I probably won't have time to build the canopy until February. So it will look ghetto for a while.
