The agony and the ecstasy of WYSIWYG corals

I'm mentally cursing the county I work for right now...They had a really nice, big (3.5") colony of maricultured pink digitata on Diver's Den earlier this week. This was that sturdy, thick-branched kind that comes out of Bali, not the usual spindly stuff that frags itself every time you clean the glass. I've wanted a pink digitata forever. I don't get paid till Monday, but I've seen montis languish for weeks on DD, so I was crossing my fingers. I kept checking the site, multiple times a day. It was still sitting there. I was getting my hopes up...and then...

7:39 this morning, it was sold! :sad2: :furious: *weeping, cursing, impotent shaking of fist*

I really, really hate getting paid once a month. I keep telling myself that it wouldn't have looked as pink under my 14Ks, and maybe it wouldn't have really looked any different from the orange digi I already have...but we all know that's just sour grapes.

Anyway, I just needed to vent, and I figured only other coral geeks would understand why I'm so crushed that I didn't get to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a bunch of colored sticks glued to a rock. :p

Dont you use credit card to purchase? You have the next billing cycle to get the statement and then another month grace period to pay. What was the situation?

Trying to pay down the credit card and avoid running up the balance for a while. That's what I get for trying to be good, I guess. ;)

I would rather walk into a bank and ask for money then sit on a credit card with a balance. Credit card interest rates are robbery on the little guy.

I feel your pain on this one bro. Has hapened to me sevral times the same way. As far as credit cards never had one never will. If my bank account is empty then it's empty.
