Lot of replies in this thread with not many pictures as of late.... You guys MUST be skimming something, because you're still recommending them! :D

Got a email from Chris from nuocean, he says that Bm150 will be in around april.

r-balljunkie - let me know if you are going to sell your BM150 :)

The quality & construction of this unit is a 110. and i cant get over just how quiet the skimmer is. It is starting to pull black crap out with in 24Hrs of run time.

How is the pump removed from BM150 for cleaning?

I'm torn between BM150 vs. OctoExtreme 160. Any thoughts?

Both around same price, however I don't think BM150 will be available until April.

Thanks

Just bit the bullet on the BM160...I have been doing quite a bit of homework on equally priced skimmers, feel this one is the best bang for the buck and it looks great...

here is mine after about 2days of skimming..keep in mind i have a VERY VERY light bioload in my tank..I am pleased with it

Anyone have Chris' email.
I can't get on nuoceans site. I'm using mozilla firefox browser, maybe an issue.
I am using firefox and have no issue getting on Nuocean

i have the BM100..I really like it..its very very quiet. built very well, and seems to be doing pretty good at making skimmate for what i have for a bioload..I have noticed it has got better in the past week since it is more broken in now..I dont think tehre would be any other in sump skimmer I would buy espcially for the price and performance.
I have the version 2 and I have never had any of those issues in the version 1 with not restarting when plugged back in..pump does not make any noise..it was pretty much put it in sump..plug in adjust bubble level and that was it.
