Yeah, the NAC7's look rather Sweet! Is anyone here familiar with they're Zeolite Reactors? If so, please...Pro & Cons???

I've seriously been gauging interest in purchasing one.

Can't say I've seen it working, but I did have one in my hands. They're pretty good built though. Only cons I can see is that the plates inside with lots of holes are fixed and you can't move it depending on the amount of rocks you have like the Vertex. The seal is very nice, also the reaction chamber is just one tube, not 2 like vertex to prevent rocks stucking between the tube and the plates so it may scratch. The plates inside are big enough to prevent rocks stuck though. For the price its a really good product IMO

Yes it will fit, but seems I have a mirco bubble issue, and had to replumb the overflow, therefore limiting the space. Any chance of some pictures of your sump? With only one baffle how are you not getting any bubbles in the DT?

Cheers

Actaually, its three baffels(bubble trap) and the only time I have bubble issues is when the retrun pump runs low.

I'll try to get a pic today when I am home(posting from work)

I have a 10g sump and have been eying a NAC6. How deep is your skimmer compartment? All the ads say 9.5-11" and my sump is 8.5" deep.

Order my BM160L today because it is the only skimmer that will fit into my sump and cabinet. Anyone know what is the best water level for this skimmer?

Thanks

Just installed the BMQQ HOB and I gotta say, I was really excited to get it going but have been dissapointed so far. For one, the piping came loose so I had to fiddle it and cut some pieces and get them glued in. Just not something I expected to have to do with a brand new product. Second, the thing is pretty darn loud. I suspect Ill have to do some DIY mod to the air intake to silence it. Not the end of the world but both issues I dont expect to have to deal with on a new product. If it ends up skimming well, ill try and live with it but as it stands, that noise is annoying the heck out of me!

BM160L is external... water level doesn't matter as long as the feed pump is located in a compartment with constant water level...
