The Farm

Skimmer looks like its working hard. What kind of pump is running it?

I am also interested in how you are using electricity to help corals build themselves, you can pm me if you aren't comfortable posting about it. Can you answer any of the other questions I asked?

We run ozone
The calc reactor media is coral sand 35 kg with 5 kg top up weekly, 1 micron sock changed daily and a 200kg sand filter, no live rock, the reactor puts out kh of 14 calcium chloride is added we mix our potassium 1 part potassium chloride 5 parts potassium sulfate, we use soluble plant fertiliser for coral nutrition, we do 50% water changes weekly.

Electro is something we are keeping pretty close to our chest at the moment it took us a long time to get it right.

Have any of your frags made it to the uk?

I have seen those bases once here and have two frags, one is a purple spathulata which is without doubt my best acro, insane colour and fast growing also a sort of mint green with light brown polyp quite stubby acro.
I see those two in your pics :wavehand: and wonder if they were from yourself.

Any chance you can post a pic, id love to see how they turned out..

Well done guys - Excellent set up.

If you need a contact in Ireland to distribute your product - Just drop me a pm. :twitch:

Have you guys noticed the need to supplement potassium only when running the stones? Or does keeping such a large amount of frags require potassium additions no matter what filtration? What is the reasoning for using the two types of potassium supplements? Do you keep it at NSW levels or higher?

What do you keep your alk at NSW levels or have you been able to keep it higher with other methods?
