The Georgia Aquarium (VERY Photo Intense)

Marc, it's not worth money to me to host these 70 photos. The photos in this thread are the sole reason I started the account, and the only photos hosted there.

Just to keep everyone updated, I am recreating this thread and will post a new link. As for the reliability of the previous host, I'll leave that to you. He had no backups.

Whether I like it, or not! :)

Thanks for the offer, Marc! However, I was able to garner some space where I'll have a little more control, in case of failure. I'm pretty uneasy about giving someone else control of my URLs now. Nothing personal, I assure you. Your constant generosity is always greatly appreciated.

No problem. Just glad you've got a better solution. I'm sure you have club members with some webspace they can share as well.

Skipper!!! Thank you so much! WOW!!

never heard of reefbucket, i would think that photobucket might be more reliable since it is more well known and used. I have a couple hundred pics on there and haven't had any problems.

we want pics or turtles and porcupine puffers. or at least i would like pics of turtles and porcupine puffers.please

Sorry, Puffer21, I don't have either. I don't remember even seeing any puffers there, and certainly not porcupines. There was only one turtle, and it was in the Georgia Explorer exhibit, which was focused around Georgia's local life. Unfortunately, I never got to see it, as it never came out from hiding.

believe it or not just found this thread! great pics! thanks for posting. It's definately been put at the top of the list for places to go!

jpslickorocks and szwab, thanks you both. This is one of those place where you can just point a camera, and you'll probably get something fantastic. I can't wait to go back again, especially now that they've opened the Behind The Scenes tours!

We just planned our trip for Memorial Day weekend (im glad they dropped the capacity from 6000 to 4000). We are driving down from NJ that Friday, hittin the GA AQ Saturday, and once done starting the trip home to be back in NJ by Sunday afternoon to have all day Monday to relax before going back to work on Tues!

Cant wait for the Behind the Scenes stuff :)

absolutely astounding pictures! thanks you for this thread and all you have described here. this sounds like it would be well worth the trip to Atlanta to see.
this thread has been nominated for thread of the month. so please vote for it. I did. :D :D :D :D
