Be sure the temp an sg are correct.
I would also lower your photoperiod for a few days.

Sean

Lowering the photo period is key, I fried my coral with the extra light getting through the clean water.

i am quite sad, while looking at the before pic, you cant see it, but there was hair algae growing everywhere,... and cyano starting to also

i am def happier with the BB, just .. i want cooked rock and thriving corals already, damnit :(

one question, those are two seio 620's, plus a rio 2500 return, its about 69x turn over rate

i like it when i see the polyps on the acros go NUTS, would it be over kill if i were to add a seio 800 or seio 1100 ?? or is what i got perfectly fine?? if i were gona replace one, probably the one below the overflow box

also, what do u guys think of the new pic??

i moved the LPS to my 75g, they seem to be doing pretty good, its alot easier to feed the sun coral in there too without shrimp stealing everything

my brother asks me about the sticker all the time, lol, i guess i just havnt goten around to it,

how is your tank coming along sean? last i read you had a huge crash

Hello all. I have been cooking my rocks for almost 4 weeks. I noticed the rocks at the bottom have a greenish color and that green coraline algea is growing.

Is all this green ok?

No, it is not. Just the rocks are getting a greenish color. I do see some green coralinge growing, it's almost as it the rock is colored green.

I do have a rock with hair algea on it, I scrubbed it last time, and saw it again, and scrubbed it again. So I know what you mean about slimy.

All three tubs have this going on with the rocks. I am using ro water with a TDS of zero. Salt is 1.21.

You removed the light source from the coralline algae, it is just trying to survive. When the rocks are exposed to a light source again whatever coralline that survives will return as red or purple. That is if this is not NA.
