The Importance of Photoperiod and Colors

im going to set my peried back tonight and take a pic in the morning and then a week later well all see the difference. ill post the pic tomorrow my lights jusst went out, but on another note my 2 250 se 12 reef lux i run right now for 8.5 hours. how many hours should i take off? maybe 1.5 or 2.5? any advice????? then we can all prove it works!

i've always been running my MH between 6-8 hours, never over 8. I have a 54 corner with a 250w reeflux 10k right now that I run for 6.5 hours, with a super actinic VHO and a VHO actinic 03 for 4 hours. Colors are pretty good. Now that its getting cooling I will be increasing my VHO hours again.

I took my 3, 400 MHs down and went with 3, 120 W LEDs and I have just as much growth and better colors. I am running the LEDs for 11 hours a day.
