The Light has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!

Added a couple more to the tank. I've probably reached the limit of what I can put in here.

This acro came in to the LFS two weeks ago and was basicly a flat rock with acro on it as you can see it's grown up a couple inches at the shop. Should be interesting to see what happens under the LED's. This is without a flash.

This is with the flash.

Green Star Ployp and White Star Polyp. I would like to see them spread across and intermix on the site of this rock. This is with the flash

Well I had another little issue with the lights this morning. When they went to start sunrise this morning they started "strobing" like a strobe light so I cycled the power. Only two of 4 arrays came on and at night levels. So I got home and started troubleshooting with PFO. Come to find out one power supply wasn't working. It seems that there was a feedback loop that had built up in the two power supplies (possibly from the reboot issue) and to fix the problem you have to unplug one power supply. The LEDs will flash indicating the loop passed through the system then just plug it back in and it's fine.

Well the pocliopora has vanished. I mean it's totally gone. It's no where to be found.

I also got a pair of polyps from the LFS that I'm curious on an Ident. they are purple with and orange mouth. Don't have a any kind of frilly fringe on them. The edge is purple on them. I'll try and get pics when they open up. I looked at zoaid.com and they don't match anything there.

Well the light went off on a tirade again. I had the daylight LEDs on one array go out. It appears to be a known cable issue. While troubleshooting I had another set of LEDs go out on me. The PFO people were very helpful and are shipping replacements tomorrow.

I guess you could aways roll it up. :)

I'm only posting what's shown a lot of growth. Clickable thumbs.

Branching sponge growing up against the glass.

Front view of the branching sponge. There's probably about a half inch on each branch.

SSG's on the right. Colony is about doubled in number. On the right is a blue branching sponge frag that has doubled in size to about 2 inches.

Another shot of them.

Samoensis or Humilis I don't think a choice has been made on this one yet. The polyps are extending now about 1/16 of an inch out. Can't really see it in the photo. Also this was almost flat when I got iit and has grown out to where it's about 1/8-1/4 of an inch tall in some areas.

My Green star polyp forest.

Greg Hiller anemone has split into 4 from the one massive one this week. My hammer doesn't seem to like my tank.

Another Greg Hiller that has split into 2 last week. Colt seems to be a little bigger.

Everything else pretty much looks like it did last month and hasn't grown very much so no reason to post photos of them.

At the last swap I got a colony of 2 blue zoas from Ron. I though they had shrunk away and vanished into the abyss that often happens with me and zoas however...... I do believe they have exploded and turned into a rather nice colony and this has happened in the last WEEK!!!!

I'm going to try and get new pics this weekend.

The Samoensis or Humilis, I'm pretty sure it was Samoensis is all but gone. Not sure what happed to it. It was fine when I wen to work and was bleached when I got home. Parameters were the same. Some tissue was still there but has slowly degraded over the past 3 weeks. There is still a little tissue left but no sign of life.

Okay here's the latest updated photos. I'm gonna skip descriptions this time.

Looks like we have a new neighbor visiting.

Here's some early morning pics just after the light came on so everybody is not "awake" and all the way out yet. I'll see if I can get some more later in the day when everybody is at full bloom. I'm skipping the descriptions on most. If you don't know what it is just scroll back through the thread. Clickable thumbs. Comments welcome.

This is the tree sponge up against the glass.

The clam has been in there about a year now.

This guy doubles in size during the day.

About time to mow the lawn here.

This is two of the 4 Hiller anemones in the tank. They are hard to make out but one is just left of center and the other is just to the right of the rock outcroping at the top.The other two have wondered off to the back side of the rocks and can't see them now.

Alright it's taken me a few days to get these up but here are the ones that weren't fully out on the last set now showing out fully. All clickable thumbs.

This is the piece I got at the last swap which is a pink bird's nest. It looked a lot darker pink under the lights at the swap. Under mine it's really pale pink.
