The main dieases and their medication?

hi all ! Well Im one of those guys that like many others dont have access to some of the medications that are mentioned here. For example, I cant access Chloroquine phosphate and Formalin in Costa Rica, really difficult to find. And I would not personally try Formalin since its a carcinogenic.

So my medications are mainly:

Paraguard for Brook
Cupramine for ICH and Velvet

If you dont have access to Chloroquine phosphate and Formalin what should I really use as an alternative?

There is a lot of noise out there and I would love to hear the experts.

Have you tried buying CP from an online vendor and having it shipped in? Or is that illegal?

I've read on a few abstracts that commercial fish farms use peroxide instead of formalin. I do not know the dosage, so you will need to look that up.

Cupramine is good, for some fish, but for those that don't tolerate copper you may have to try the fresh water dips, peroxide, and tank transfer method several people on here utilize.

Are you able to get this. IMO, Formalin is much safer than cooper.

you can be fined if you try to introduce medicines or chemicals without proper autorization.

I would prefer something that dosent depend on the fish willing to eat or not. Since you cant control that.

Also I dont know if the medicines that Im using are enough to cure what I mentioned. I already have and will used them if necessary. But no body seems to give a straight answer.

I am no expert.

I've never used Chloroquine phosphate nor Formalin. I always use Seachem Paragard for a week, PrazipPro for 2 weeks, then at the end Seachem Cupramine for 2 weeks. A little break between medication and frequent water changes. I have Wrasses, gobies, Tangs, butterfly, and others. All of them went through the same QT process.
