When I said 60 I mean I have a cubical system that I get them to eat and raise then and I'm trying to breed them
But put them straight in to the display tank
Not immune to disease. However the moving between tanks (from catch to transport to wholesaler to lfs to qt to dt) can definitely stress these fish out.Are you saying MI should not be quarantined? Why? Are they immune to disease?

Pairing them Is a hit or miss in my research.Do these fish do well in pairs? What tank length is best?

Ok this is the moorish idol man,
IF I WERE YOU DO NOT QUARANTINE THEM OF THEY START EARING IN THE QT TANK THEY WILL GET STRESSED OUT DURING THE MOVE TO THE SHOW TANK TRUST ME I EXPERIMENT WITH THIS FISH I HAVE A 720 GALLON SYSTEM WITH 60 MOORISH IDOLS
SO PLEASE DONT DO THAT THANKYOU
You are very patient I can't don't have the same discipline. My friends are doing it but 72 days is mighty long time to be fallow.
They are very ick prone and very susceptible to velvet. I don't have the patient to do 72 days fallow again but any fish that I have, I try to qt 2 weeks for velvet unless I know that the fish is on copper for 2 weeks. Ick can be manage but velvet can't . It will be too reckless not to qt this fish.
Really? I posted those photos as I've been watching it everyday since I took it home and want to make sure I'm doing things right for it.He looks great
