The most AMAZING buy today...a 1.5" Conspicillatus Angel!!!

great purchase. sometimes we just have to pull the trigger in the moment before it passes. im sure there have been times when we have all passed up on corals or fish and then it was too late.

Sweet!! Spectacular find. Good luck with it!
I can't wait for my new build to be completed. I want some of these amazing fishes. (Did Lawrence male reference to a THIRD interruptus?)

I envy you Angel keeps. Beautiful and very majestic fish. The best I will attempt is a Potters. I hope it thrives and becomes a centerpiece fish

He's collecting them smaller and smaller.

This size usually goes to Japan, i remember only once it was in America (probably more) , and it was when the collector visit USA .

Congrats Wayne! the beautiful thing about these fish are that they will adapt quite well once acclimated. I know how you feel with your nerves. When my 3" Consipic arrived I was on edge for at least a week.

Here are a few quick tips on getting her to eat almost immediately.

Freeze a fresh clam then use a cheese grater (the small holes) and grate it up into a fine mush. Feed a small chunk 2 times a day. The smell and the tiny pieces of meat will be irresistible to the fish...I bet it eats within minutes of the food entering...

Good luck...she is a beaut!

Thank you everyone for your kind words and well wishes. Well, I saw her take a SINGLE nibble this morning so that's a good start. She does seem very at ease and relaxed now so I'm hoping it's only a matter of time before her appetite kicks up.

Hi Chris, thank you for the advice. I've always been apprehensive about feeding fresh clams. I have a couple large clams in my system and I don't want my fish to get accustomed to eating clams for that reason. I've always had good luck with getting new fish to eat Prime Reef. The food combination along with various sizes of bits usually gets new fish to taste it.

However, if I don't see her eating soon, I will try fresh clams as an alternative.

Yes, you caught that huh? I did pick up a third Interrupta, but I was on the fence about keeping it especially because of this new addition. My 300 DT is getting overcrowded and as my wife says, I'm over-impacting the reef. However, they seem to be getting along very well with each other in my fuge so I may still keep it. On the other hand, theres about 3 other fish on my to-get list too so we'll see.

Wow congrats on the trio of interruptus as well. Your display is awesome already, cannot wait to see them all together!
