not exactly sure what the question is but we already know that sunlight doesn't fluoresce corals like actinic light.That's really cool. Wonder if it will fluoresce corals like actinic lighting.
I thought you were going to have some type of supplemental blue lightingThere are several tanks I've researched and they have successfully kept SPS with no trouble.. so in my case with gorgs, zoas, and softies I should have sufficient lighting .to keep them healthy and thriving .. IMO

The coral greenhouses I've been to had to supplement sunlight with artificial light to keep corals healthy- with a marked increase of growth in the summer months because sunshine is more intense and duration is longer.
IMO it would be interesting to see what can survive "solartube only" lighting.
It certainly could be used for a deepwater reef but would still likely require some addtional blue lighting.
