the new " big build"

Decided 2 solar tubes would be plenty .. tanks going into place this afternoon. I'll get a picture of the light in the tank then, but here's a roof shot of the tubes. Yea shingles don't match but they are new and the existing roof is 15 years old.. lol

Skylight is going to be cool... That seems like a great idea. Looking forward to seeing the finish of it all.

That's going to be amazing! Those tubes are crazy bright!! Do they produce a lot of heat from the sunlight?

Just installed them today, but I can say they are very bright and when I hold my hand under them I can't feel a temperature difference ..

Gary, you of all people I look for advice and criticism from.. granted I've only met you once but you and your system and knowledge really had a impact on me.. seriously

Half full of water by the way, lol. Suns going down so I'll have to post pictures tomorrow .. but the girlfriend went for a dip .. sorry " cully " she beat ya to it

Thats's awesome!

Are you planning on supplementing during the "shorter days" of winter?

I like watching this build and am impresses at the speed at which you're working.

Taken at 12:30, the tanks filled with just well water so it looks like a gallon of milk.. gotta love hard country water.. but the these tubes really penetrate all the way to the bottom even with the cloudy water... also I have them 14 inches from the surface. I may raise them higher to get more spread but that's a easy job that can wait till everything is moved in and I can get a hold of a par meter..
