Are your Emerald crabs greener when you take pics of them? Mine are whitish, but show up glowing emerald green in pics?!

I can never keep emerald crabs for more than 6 months haha

My emerald crabs are just as green in person. The legs are a hairy brown but the body is very green.

Two reason that I know of why they turn white.
1. Could be molting. may want to add a little iodine to water column to help with transition.
2. The lack of algae for them to eat.
I wouldn't consider either one a bad thing, unless it has a molting mishap.

I have a big monster that turns white every couple of months, had him for a long time.
