Other than the different shape, do you find there is any benefit to that design?
I can't really justify the expense in my mind, but maybe I am missing a detail.
what would be the difference if you just get a sheet of acrylic and drill holes and stand it up on either pvc or any other inert material?

Im trying to ignore this thread. For one reason, I dont have a frag tank. Though I would like one, I dont feel like coughing up the Benjamins to upgrade! Im trying to keep my funds focussed on the prize (upcomming frag swap). Ive started a project in my DT Ive been gluing frags of Z's and P's all over the bottom pane. Along with rics and other frags haha.

As much as i hate to admit it (JK), I agree with Manny.

$89 to hold 300+ frags, aesthetically nice, and well built..come on guys, how can you beat it.

Yes eggcrate is cheaper but how about the time involved to built the equivalent. 1-3 hours. Heck I can down a six pack in that time, or a few Johnnies, while i chill and watch my frags grow.

LMAO, I think that this rack was designed for a retail store were you see your frags through the glass therefor you can use the height in the back to show all your pieces, however, in the type settings most of us have you look at the frags from the top down! making it........useless, for lack of a better word.
But you are right if it makes you feel good, lets build another tier above the water <LOL

I dont know about that buddy. Im planning a frag tank in a closet behind my tank, I think youve seen it. The view will be from the front. Besides even with Manny's tiered levels, you can still see from the top regardless.
