The perfect combo

No lights.keep in mind paterns are still developing more white and helmets appearing.

Very very awesome looking babies in that video. They have a lot of black in them already. I understand that the parents are 2 Percula but I thought the babies are sort of a hybrid because the parents are not the same type of fish. Does that make sense? Either way, I can't wait to see what they grow up looking like.

Thanks you. No they are both the same percula .but I understand what u are trying to say. It's like if you mix a snowflake and a onyx .that's a hybrid 2 different clownfish one is a percula that's the onyx and a snowflake is a ocellaris =hybrid Snow0nyx but since both of the parents are percula the offsprings are 100% percula family

Update picture .well the babies are still developing I'm feeding them 4+times a day their bodyshape I would say I'm happy with them .Their white still need to fully develope the need their tail bar and black edging to come in .age they are about 2 months 2 weeks .When the black fills is that's what's going to make them look more detailed.

Also these guys are going to make a great foundation for any future hobbies/breeder like myself do to that both parents are not related what's so ever :)

hey Al! nice percentage of Picasso my onyx Picasso maybe 25 percent. And by the way your snowcasso just double its value, cuz doni is no longer breeding.

If their blood line didnt have any incest in them i would say its the perfect pair :D

Either way they are a great looking pair and your doing a great job raising them. Keep it up

That's what I'm trying to do.Have offsprings from 2 different percula that are absolutely not related the snowcasso going back to ora lineage.just like every domestic picasso in the western side of the world are all ora lineage some how.and the c-quest onyx from 2 different
lineage .I did my homework my cquest came from a cquest pair that was bred by one of bill aAddison' disciple the the lineage is true cquest. I'm hoping for who ever carries my clownfish it would better their breeding arsenal. Or who ever is starting to start with something clean.i learned I know from different breeders that been doing this for a long time.
Let me tell you I also like to share information .because when I wanted answers alot of breeder sometimes didn't reply back or say go read a book lol!! After 9pm my minutes are free if anyone wants an answer to their questions and maybe I can help pm me your number s I don't mind .As long that you are not calling 10 times a day lol!!

No only one batch my rotifers crashed and I'm going away for a week out of states as for now not for sale I'm experimenting to see what's their full potential. I'm checking on how long it takes for the them to color body shape and still forming more paterns. But thank you for your intrest

From my conversation of another breeder friend of mine .my offsprings are developing slower than picasso x picasso offsprings doe to the fact that my offsprings have pure onyx in the mix ..

why would the onyx part have anything to do with their development? they are both percs, they should IMO still develop just as fast, unless your talking about the black.

For some reason a regular onyx percula takes longer to develop the second line and third .Second line at 3 months.then the tail bar comes in around 6-7 months .now with picasso percula X picasso percula at 2 months their full paterns are formed.
