Do you think one mp40w would be enough?

Not sure.. .Yes and No. Yes, box-rating matches for our 92gal tanks, however, the corner tank itself is weird. the "flow" is messed up because, well its a frigg'n triangle not a rectangle. This is the main reason I went with 2x MP20's... Increasing the variance in flow and still getting the volume/hr that I want/need.

I'd be curious to hear what Echotech says with regards to the one pump in the corner tank idea.... But honestly I just do not see how it will get the job done properly in our tanks.

yours if definately bigger than mine jesse:lol: hang on a minute i should nt be laughing about that:D

Hey, I am Canadian! :p And I'm getting rid of my Octo-Pro 300 and getting a brand new one from Reefoctopus hehe... still rated around 300gal, but bigger is better and biggest-wins! The new one will be cone-shaped, not cylindrical.. even better skimming...

thanks kelso1980 and misled. it has some tissue recession right in the middle so itll be getting fragged rather soon in an attempt to save the rest.

yep i do, its pretty large and can take a decent amount of media, i only fill it 1 quarter though, but it was a good buy

I think I'll chime in with some pics of my 44g pentagon tank.

I have started on the custom canopy. There is just no way to put a descent light on top of this tank and it still look ok. I am going to paint the canopy and stand black and have ordered a new black tank to replace this one that is 6-7yrs old and loosing its seals.

As far as the sump I gave up on having one underneath and put a hole in the wall behind the tank and have a 29g sump in my utility room. I went ahead and put a 20L on top of the 29 sump stand while i was at it.

charleskeller welcome to the corner group, where your issue is our pain! hahaha... seriously, nice to have you here and great photos.

Thats alot of fans, do you get any noise from them?

yeah...noisy fans. i don't mind that much. i'm acutally going to switch to a couple 4" fans when i get the light mounted into the canopy and remove the glass top. next week i'll be off work and there will be a lot of work done to it.
