The Reef Central Corner Club Thread

good idea bernie,i will look into them, i think my lfs has some actually, if they are reliable then i suppose a bit of flake every day whilst im away might stop the angel being a devil

They are pretty good & they have a timer on them. Mines drop pellets & You can schedule it from one time to 8 times a day at what ever intervals you'd like. I would have it feed 2-3 a day in absense. 1 at the beggining of the light cycle, once in the middle & once at the end, feeding the minimun each time, but that just me... Better to be safe than sorry when it comes to angels!

i use an auto feeder for vacations as well. i even use it normally to. it feeds once in the morning and once at night for when im at work, when im on vacation it feeds more.

My MP40W arrived today. This thing is sweet, awesome polyp extension already. I love the tank without the seios in there. Im contemplating on a second one now.

Flip, I just went to tiger direct & bought 4 computer fans, the most basic ones, they were like $5 each, you can see the install on my build thread, its listed step by step. Yeah thankfully heat is not one of my problems. Even through the tank crash my corals have not been affected. Once again thanks... I did get alot of advice for the build.

I'll check the thread more thoroughly right now, and check out Tiger Direct, too. Thanks a million, man!

Took a while to save and I found a seller selling brand new gen2s for 370 shipped so I couldnt pass on the deal. It looks like one might be enough as I see alot of flow everywhere. Going to test out for the rest of the week though.

Bernie, is your mag 18 going into the tank or is it split? Do you have it turned down at all? Reason Im asking is I have a mag 18 and at full blast the tank seems like its going to overflow.

I have the mag 28 at full go, but its split into 3 exits once it reaches the tank, I think its fine, but I would like more flow in the tank, you should be fine, if not just T it off.

Great Thread! Glad I found it. I was lucky enough to buy a 54 corner in August and absolutely love it. It is my home display tank and I would be hard pressed to ever switch back to a rectangular tank again. Here is a picture a month or so ago.

hey a new member, great to have you here, your tank looks great, lots of colour, welcome aboard

I want to post big detailed pics like everyone else does, but according to RC the pics have to be compressed to a certain size and uploaded to my gallery to post. How does everyone else do it?

Photobucket accounts i think.. (for me anyhow) and link them in using the IMG tags...

Welcome to our corner of reef-central (hahahaha.. feeling punny)

Im a photobucket guy aswell...its just easier...

I found two other corner tanks, but they were both over 200 gals, I recruited them, hopefully we see them here too!
