What a cheater!!!! However they were made, they still look nice, and you can't tell that they had a guideline with them. BTW Jesse, did you set your frags around your tank yet? The suspense is killing me!
No, not yet. A couple didn't make it but things will be getting laid out within a couple weeks. I've set up a meet with a local reefer for a few more frags. Just waiting for the company to send the money. By the way, the frag rack is now purple instead of white.
Too bad that some of the frags didn't last, but it's nice that you can meet with a fellow reefer to help bring the cost down! I'm looking forward to see how your tank will mature. It looks like a ton of thought went into the setup, and once it starts growing out I think all the hard work will start paying off.
The reason I lost a couple was part of an experiment. I normally drip kalk to keep up calcium and wanted to try the two parts to see which would be better for me. The two part didn't work well so I went back to dripping and that's the system I'll be using.
I'll be building my own light hood after I get my tank, just so that I will have accurate dimensions. I will be stealing ideas from boret, Misled, and Hookup for the hood and this will be the last time EVER that I will use Oak for anything. It is absolutely horrendous to work with. It's been a learning experience. lol. I guess everything in reefing is -- but building in wood is not reefing ???
