Ok I REALLY need to make one of Melev's photo boxes b/c I spent an hour taking top-down shots and only a few came out without glare

OK, that OBT is really sweet and I particularly enjoy the hole you made in the side of your house..."it takes an even stronger man..."

what type of urchin was that.. it is pretty wild looking :)

it was labeled a rainbow unchin don't know if that is what they are really called

That's the famous, "I am going to eat all the pods and shrimp in your tank" wrasse! j/k It is very cool looking. A little bit of Jester, a little bit of blue sided fairy. A couple of eye spots. nice!

Brian and Christina's tank really is something to behold. In about a year, this thing should be grown out to a ridiculous extent and tank of the month quality!

I get on Christina about her soft coral tendencies (it happens to the best of us) but the use of soft coral in the lower regions of this tank really bring everything to life. The meat corals especially are a thing of pure beauty (that doesn't mean I'll let you keep any mushrooms :D )

One thing that's fairly incredible about this tank is the lack of time to adjust. It literally was transferred from San Antonio to Austin in one day and it didn't skip a beat! The whole tank was fully operational about 6 weeks ago and you'd think the tank had been setup for at least 6 months already.

Thanks John I'm working on getting the mushrooms out:D I'm glad its doing as good as it is. I was really afraid I would lose a lot of my livestock or it would take forever for it to look decent again.

I finally got the removable black backgrounds put on the tank.
I'm getting some great growth and I'm very impressed with my Deltec calcium reactor it has been almost hassle free and running like a champ.
I still keep checking my levels thou out of habit which is a good thing anyways lol

how about some growth shots

Nice shots!

This is one of my favorites in my tank. I have a piece that is/was about 10" x 7" but it has been in STN for the last week. I have a frag from a few weeks ago that looks fine, and a recent frag that has shown STN also. I keep clipping it back and dipping but cannot get rid of the STN. I am totally bummed about it because it is an incredible coral.

Do you have an ID on it?
