I've been out of town and returned to this barrage of photos -- looking great Brian!! Can't wait to come see it again in person. The "Kingfish tricolor" is really shaping up.

Well the one you have is an especially nice specimen. Love the color. GL...I have a reefer buddy that actually knows how to frag them! He had on ethat grew too big for his tank and he gave it to another reefer, and it promptly died. He got another one and learned how to frag them. I just don't have the nads for that!

Yea no way would I have the nads to do that either:lol:

Hey Mike, the kingfish tricolor is pretty cool acro.
If your in town on May 20th the Maast meeting is at my house so stop on by or your welcome anytime.

Hows the planning of the new tank coming along?

Don't know about the 20th yet, but I'll check my calendar and if I'm around, I'm there - thanks for the 'head's up.'

My new tank plans are coming along great! I decided on a 60x30x26 rimless design, and it's currently being built by Tom at AGE. The equipment is starting to roll in as well. But I don't want to hijack this thread so I'll pull the reigns on the details.

Wow...what a nice update with some awesome comparison pictures. Although I am not an SPS guy at the current time, I can definitely see how they can be just as addicting as zoas/LPS.

Amazing tank and your corals look incredibly healthy and happy.

Wow, amazing tank!! Pics are impressive!! Keep up the good work!! Your controller setup is ridiculous!

I tried pm'ing you, but your box is full.

I have a couple of questions:

1. What is the depth of your sand bed? It looks to be about 1-2".

2. What type of maintenance do you do for your sand bed (i.e. stirring, changing sand out)?

3. What inverts do you have to maintain your sand? Any cucumbers?

Thanks in advance for the info. and keep those pics coming!!!!

Thanks, I've got a bunch of milles and what's funny I don't think I was trying to have a bunch of them but it ended up that way

Sorry about that I cleaned out the PM box

1. my sand bed is 1"-2" purely there for the look of sand

2. I stir the sand before each water change as well as vacuuming it. My plan will be to completely change out the sand to new sand in two years

3. I've got lots of snails and I have 8 cucumbers and 10 conch's

Thanks

Reading your thread has got me stoked! I really hope we are able to meet up on my birthday, I will definitely want to bring some stuff back with me to Dallas :D
