Isn't that always how it is bigger tank and bigger fish room. hahhahahhhah

lol yes, I remember when I first saw the tank...I thought to myself wow how am I ever going to fill this thing lol

Got a new toy today the new MRC Nilsen Reactor
It has a built in timing mechanism, one timer when the mixing occurs and another for the length of the mix. Each timer is selectible between 10 different positions which I thought was pretty cool.
Not to mention that it holds 4 cups of Kalk:)

took some side shots also, sorry the glass is dirty too lol I haven't cleaned them in a couple of weeks. I really need to get a wide angle lens to get some better shots.

Damn Brian, that's friggin' spectacular! Seeing tanks like yours makes me lose patience for my tank to develop. I can no longer follow your thread ... you are dead to me.

;)

Dudester- LOL Your tank is already friggin sweet it will be friggin amazing once its complete

mrpet-Thanks!

Lunchbucket-They do good work I've been waiting for them to come out with the new design for a while now I'm glad its finally here.

hook up took all of 20mins and the timers are really impressive I watched a mix cycle today and it really stirs the kalk up. I will keep you updated on its performance.

Yes their website doesn't look good on my computer either it did not to long ago so maybe they messed with the settings.

Just read through the entire thread, probably for the second or third time honestly. Simply amazing work you (both ;)) have done, as has been said many times before.

My only question is in regards to your "PPE" zoanthids. You posted a few months ago (Link) with a before and after shot. In my experience, the patterning is due to over exposure to high light levels. That is, the zooxanthellae has disappeared (killed, retracted; I don't know), so there is no color. What struck me as interesting was that the condition usually only shows up in child polyps; the parent colonies usually remain otherwise unchanged. Has the colony retained the dotted/splotched white pattern? Are the child polyps showing the same pattern?

Cheers,
Marty
