Bryan- Love the Tizardi/Soli picture. Please let me know how you like your new MRC nielsen reactor.

It was sold to me as an efflo but looks like a soli now, either way I love it.

The MRC reactor is working like a charm, if I had to do it again I would

WOW.. you finally figured out how to use that camera! What a difference! I have to ask again.. what camera is it? I am looking at the Nikon 300D.

Thanks man,

Its a Cannon Digital Rebel XTi I don't think you can go wrong with Cannon or Nikon.

I had some pretty good color prior to my snail die-off but not that good. Are you using ozone? I can't wait to get past this crap and get back to honing my system. Really looks good.

I don't run Ozone but I do run a lot of UV which helps water clarity.

thanks! Color gets better by the month but I still have a couple of colonies that are not as colorful as I have seen them in the past but hopefully they will gain the color once again.

Has this system been tank of the month yet? Curious what your maintenance regimen is. Beautiful tank!

Dennis

No I have never had totm before.

Thanks!

Maintenance:
--Every 2 to 3 weeks I change filter socks
--Every 3 to 4 weeks I change carbon
--2 water changes a month of 100gallons each
--clean the glass weekly
--I try to once a month to drain the sump and clean it with a shop vac to make sure its nice and clean.
--check my alk and calcium levels every few weeks to make sure there in-line

thats all that I can think of now if I remember anything else I'll post it.

Simply amazing. Your photo's have really shown how wonderful your corals are. Do you use zeovit or any similar products, to achieve those colours, or is all just your feeding and maintenance?

The colors have come just from regular feeding and maintenance I have just recently started the polyplab system but not for color. I have had some bad alage pop up and my friend told me that the system would take care of it. So far its working but I haven't noticed anything as far as color

BTW, been meaning to ask you what type of filtersocks you use? Micronsize and material.

i dont' know i have all time to read a full thread but can you tell me where did you order your tank at? phone number or website please thanks

Sorry if I've missed it buddy but what size is the room behind your tank?

Where did you get your exhaust fan and controller? (Fantech RVF 4XL)

Any problems w/ having that size sump? Seems a little small IMO for the tank?

Just starting to get more involved in planning and doing my 48"x48"x20"

thanks
