Depends on bulbs, ballasts, reflectors and cooling. If any of those are lacking, it's not bringing a ton of PAR but can bring much needed spectrum stillAnyone know what the general par value for a pair if t5 approx 10" above tank and 6" below waterline? Using as a supplement to led and wondering what it brings to table
Is there a 'dark blue' T5 available?
Not a pure actinic bulb, but something like an ATI blue plus with less power in the green and turquoise spectrum.
I have a 6x24 fixture over my shallow lps build but I don't get much pop at all. I'm running 4x blue plus, 1x purple plus and 1x pure actinic. Any ideas on tube combo?

Thanks.I would put the two actinic's in the 2 bulb channel for dawn and dusk, place the coral plus in one of the middle positions and fill the rest in with blue+
Hard to say. Coloration of corals do not only depend on lighting. Your combination will do fine to start with.I'm having a hard time getting my sps polyps pink. I just replaced a GE 6500, and GE 5000, to two Coral+. Do you think my new bulb line up below will get my sps colored up? Of course assuming all water chemistry is inline.
My new lineup.
