The Tank that REEF CENTRAL Built - 450 gal display, 800 gal volume

That is correct...that is why I like a beefer wire with a weaker breaker. Just in case the GFE does not do its job...it looks for grounding issues. not necessarily over heating of wire.

I guess as long as we have enough circuits we won't have to worry about over loading, so the 15A should be safe.

I def don't want the pre to be any chance of the wire being the weakest link.

Because, on the strength of one link in the cable, dependith the might of the chain.

So as part of getting ready for our move we are selling our 180, and 110.
But we don't want to lose most of our fish, so the only solution is to go buy a 250g to set up and hold the fish during the move.

Buying a whole new system to set up just to breakdown the two we already have not seem logical?
IT's NOT!
But I love breaking down and setting up tanks so that is what I am going to do. :-)
And I will get my hands on a fully stocked 250 as an added bonus.

Heading out on the drive now. I will post some pics of the system.

And done.....
Got up at 7am yesterday morning, drove 4 hours to Fayettville NC, bought and broke down a 210 system, and a 65 gallon frag tank system.
At 9:15 was finally done loading up, and drove the 4 hours home.

Just finished unloading everything (other than large tank) and setting up the frag system so all the new corals and fish would have a place to sleep tonight.

Now I am exhausted.

I have never heard of anyone adding more systems before having to take down their systems in a few months for a big move. In the immortal words of Frank the Tank...."You're crazy man, crazy!" :bounce3: With that said, I cant wait to stop by today and see the madness! This is really awesome, only 3 days in SC and I have found someone that is more hooked on the hobby than I am!!!! It really feels like home now!

See... all you have to do is look, maybe flip a few rocks, and you will find people you know.

Glad you made a home.

So when are you setting up the 500g tank?

Its going to be a while for me. The new house wont be done being built until March/April next year. Im still trying to decide tank size and sump location.

Be careful around here then....

LOL...

Just kidding... Glad to see you are planing it out slowly.

Ours is a ways off also. Our house is finished being built in October. I will get right to work on the fish room, but the tank and rest of the build will trail behind a bit.

But i do have some "the tank that REEF CENTRAL built" progress to report. Picked up a Carbon Reactor this weekend.

SPotter took a break from settling in to come by and see what we have going on over here, and how did I welcome him to town?

By asking him to help me carry in a 210 gallon tank, and stand!!!
What a way to greet a new friend! But I promised to return the favor when ever I got the chance.
