The 180 is completely gone. Tore it down and put it in the bowels of ABC Reefs like The Arc of the Covenant.

Corals are gone.

Fish are in a coral holding tank in back of ABC Reefs for now. They will move to a Rubbermaid Stock bin at new house once all the dust settles.

Remaining pieces parts for sale are gone.

We move on Tuesday.

The Marineland 200DD has been ordered.

Build thread to follow.....

I feel so alone :sad1:

Capt. Sounds like you have it all covered congrats. You could always go visit the fish so you don’t feel so alone lol. Waiting for the build thread. Can't wait!!

I've been wondering what's going on over there.
Momentous life changing stuff. Enjoy!

New house, new tank, baby #2 on the way.....:crazy1:

Tim (ABC Reefs) and I took down the 180 last night. That thing is a beast. Weighs #340 empty, not counting sand, left over water, and sludge. Only a few days left in the old homestead. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Best of luck to you, Mark.

I can't wait to see the new build thread. Do you have a timeline yet? If so, has your wife caught wind of it? :D

Mark enjoy every minute of it. Building the system is my favorite part of starting new. Of course the tank cycling is the worst part for me. Looking forward to your build thread. Remember Lots of pictures...

Wow congrats on baby #2. Good luck with everything. If you ever need a hand with the new tank build let me know it would give me an excuse to get back up that way. And a trip to Syracuse would not be complete without stopping at ABC of course :D What size tank and sump configuration did you decide on?

Spent all day ripping out the basement sump stand. Lots of wood screws and 2xfo's. But, it's all gone. Floor has been patched. It's like it never even happened. I've got at least one full pick up truck bed full of ancillary equipment. Pumps, PH's, extension cords, electronics, lighting, plumbing and about 350 lbs of LR. Rediculous. The tank is taking more of my time than moving any of our other possessions.

Thanks for the well wishes all. About 36 hrs to go........
