I'm thinking temple also. Interesting for sure. Couple of things I would do; First, do you have live rock somewhere? Without it you might run into a problem with filtration. Second, you need a Kole Tang to eat away the micro algae. They can tolerate a smaller tank and eat that brown/green haze you have. One Kole and it will be all cleaned up in a week.

My rock is just a different shape than yours I doubt I will add any fish anytime soon, maybe just remove some. This isn't my first tank, but thanks for the suggestions. There is about 1lb. or so rock in the overflow, but not much.

Where can i buy a topless mermaid for my tank?

LOL, that was kind of funny. I got it from some of my friends at the aquarium in chicago, it was a freebie dinner gift at a conference they had there. Kinda weird lol so I figured why not put it in the tank and put a coral on it.
