The wavebox videos link!

I know it works Ok with the Osmolator but couldn't say with other systems, I would assume that the system would top off so the low point was equal to the float switch position.

Whats everyone's feelings on using the photo cell to shut the WB off at night. On one hand the fish are sleeping, but on the other hand thats when my corals are extended and looking for food in teh water column!

disbjohn, yes I have my skimmer in the 1st section, then baffels, then my return section.

Roger, it would indeed top off when the switch would get activated when I got a low level in my return section. I was just lthinking that there might be that loss of water going to the sump for awhile due to the wave action.......thus causing my auto-top off pump that is hooked up to the float switch on the return section to cycle on and off more than normal.

In theory it should fill up so low level is equal to the float and high level is overfilled.

I like using the photo cell. The wavebox will turn off at night, but I still have supplemental flow created by my streams which should be running at 50% at night.

The wavebox is really cool, but due to the size of my tank I will keep only my 2 streams in there. When I do upgrade to a larger tank, I will def get the wavebox.

thanks I was thinking of one for my 75g --nice to see it on your 72 plus the site has abunch of videos I've been checking out for the last half hour
