Sooo to help people plan, and to avoid excessive fragging of common corals no one wants.... how about you post lists or pics..


I have available to frag, or frags available of: [i won't have all of this, but if you are interested in specifics pm me, i can make sure i bring some of them

sps:
green slimer
green/ yellow milli
orange cap [first!]
bullet's green w/ bluish tips stag acro. [green in my tank]
a nice baby blue acro stag- thick branches
a royal purple acro w/ greenish polyps [very similiar to garf bonanzi]
a green cap
birdsnest [common]
a purple tipped acro
a green acro similiar to a Acropora monticulosa
kinda like this..

others:
a red blasto w/ green center
bright orange ricordia [i have singles, and multi head rocks]
a variety of zoos including bright green centers,
pink lemonade [almost like these-

oh yea.. i am recovering from a calcium reactor meltdown, my corals dont' have their color back.. but they are on the way, most came from premium aquatics, bullet, coralfreak, etc... none of these pics are of my tank btw ..

i am looking for colorful (pretty much anything that isnt brown or tan, UNLESS its really cool for another reason) "beginner" corals.

which might just be the super common ones (zoos, shrooms, etc). i would be totally satisfied with them. please PM me (anyone) if you have anything you think might be down my ally. this will be my first swap and i want it to go well :-D

how much does a slimer typically go for? just curious. there are a number of sps i really like. slimers around the top.

Slimers should be pretty cheap, they are REALLY fast growing.

Not to burst your bubble, but it might be a good idea to stay away from SPS until you are well established & have premium equipment & lights. I learned the hard way my first swap.

oh, dude... no problem. i know im not set for sps. just wondering about how much they are/how hard they are to get. im in no rush.

a new [spider??] reflector+ socket
a cpr bak pak II w/ surface strainer
possibly a small pan world pump [large enough to power a beckett or a eductor]

I think I'm just going to bring some odds and ends, I'll probably only have one or two of the following:

green digitata
pink birdnest
orange cap
dragon eye zoas
watermelon zoas
green palythoas
a small frag of pinkish palys similar to the ones above
yellow polyps
maybe some fire &ice

I can also bring some purple digitata if anyone wants some, but it lost its color... it will come back under bright lighting, and stable parameters....it always does.

I'll be bringing my wallet....looking for different colors of montipora and maybe some green millie since I lost mine

I'm going to be bringing some frags too. Purple pollicopora, Bam Bam zoa's, Green Bay Packer zoa's, orange cap, a couple of greenish blue millies, some nice orange zoa's and misc.
I also have a Aqua Medic SP 3000 doser pump that needs some tweaking. I just bought new tubing ($20.00) but it still isn't pulling like it should. $35.00 takes it.

What I'm bringing: starburst micros (3 frags), a Cyphastrea (3 frags) that is identical to the Tyree minefield cyphastrea, neon caulastrea (4 2 head frags), brilliant forest green-centered with white ticks around outer edge caulastrea (3 single head frags), at least one 2 headed duncan frag, at least one 2-3" crocea clam and an assortment of zoanthids/palythoa. Some will be on big rocks and some will go cheap because they're in my refugium and have lost most color (but I've got photos of what they look like). Will also bring the giant roll of PF4 mesh if anyone wants some for meshmodding your skimmers (I recommend EVERYONE do this). Anyone who wants some can have some for free. I might bring Bullet's old frag tank as well, which is basically a 60 gallon with a built-in sump. Kind of a nice setup.

What I want: money to help pay for the load of corals I just bought. Phytoplankton if anyone has some.
