missed out as well. I was supposed to be on a notification list when I ordered last spring my three but obviosly that didnt work.disappointed. How do you get on the list now since that site doesnt have a backorder notice button or something.

I never got an answer to my question about the shipping and handling prices. It seems that they were different prices at differents days. If they were lowered for some will the ones that bought on day one see any different s&h price charged.

how would that be any better though? if there are only enough to go around, how do they pick who gets them and who doesn't? seems like first-come first-serve is the only fair way to do it. either that or auction them one at a time on ebay

I do think there should a wait list but the people who bought the vortech's already should be ahead of them. My warranty cards where submitted last spring.

Guess those who lurk the boards constantly will have the leg up on this one.

I read RC all the time, but I don't visit every single vendor forum for every piece of equipment I own. I also would like to know why the email list of people who have registered Vortechs was not informed of this. Not a huge problem, just curious. I'm more curious about how many "rounds" of orders will get the rebate offer? If I get in on the next round will I get it?

its actually bs that you got the upgrades before the pumps. when I got the pumps I was told the upgrades were pending. oh well what can you do. maybe the bugs will get worked out with the earlier releases and they'll be a last laugh.

I agree. This way is easier for AS though as they don't have to deal with waiting lists and whatnot.
