These have got to be some of the weirdest fish... Look at their tiny fins compared to body size ...maybe only beaten by the frog fish... what do you think ?

Those pipefish are pretty weird. I think these fish are a bit higher on the weird spectrum though.

What's even weirder is that a few of these have been offered on Diver's Den and someone bought them!

Sea Robins (Prionotus Sp.) are pretty weird too. Look up "Sea Robin Walking" and you'll see some strange videos. They have these modified fins tht look like spider leg things that 'walk'!

Genera.... Touché :p

I was thinking more along the lines of what is on offer to us reefers on a regular basis... Someone brought those?!?

Shrimp fish are pretty strange fish that are sometimes seen in reefs. Their swimming patterns are truly one of a kind

Those are actually very cool in person. 15 or 20 years ago we were deep sea fishing in the gulf and I caught one of these. I thought *** is that thing. Haha.

I worked on oyster boats for a couple years and we pulled up a toad fish one day the size of a baby. They are like one solid muscle and I'm pretty sure they could bite your finger right off!

I've got some of those in my tank.. They remind me of sea horses to some extent but I don't really consider them weird. To me, frog fish are weird.

The pearl fish is a real odd one. Check it out if you do not know what it is. Make sure to read up on it and not just look at a picture.
