They are at it again

My Maroon Clowns are laying eggs


They have been cleaning a section of rock for about 2 weeks. ( they didn't like the several pieces of tile I have there. they moved them all out of the way )
and now have laid their batch.

of course their "perfect" spot is in a place where pictures are impossible.

Maroons can be a pain. I had clear acrylic over the walls of the aquarium, tiles, & a clay pot. It would move rock just to lay the eggs on something that I could not remove. Their was at least 10 items in a 15 gal. tank & it would still find a place.

so Last night they hatched.

this afternoon, mama maroon clown laid another batch down. this time roughly 2 inch across circle.

amazing. wasted no time.

I will try and get a piece of tile there with out her moving it so they can lay the eggs on their instead so I can try and get them to reefstew
