Thinking about getting out of the hobby

Yeah thats what the old timers used to carry. First 2 guns my dad had were S&W .357's. One was his duty gun.
 
I got my Typhoon III extreme. It is very big, bigger than I expected. I am not sure how to hook it up yet. I will let you know how it does when it gets hooked up.

It should have 1 line in that connects to the main water line or faucet and 3 lines out. One of the lines coming out is for waste water that goes down the drain. Another line out is for RO only water (drinking water). The third line out is for RO/DI water (for the tank).

You don't want to drink the DI. The purity of the DI water is made by chemically replacing the ions. The RO water is made by filtration.
 
Is the DI cartridge not supposed to fill up all the way when I am running the unit? It only fills a little bit at the bottom.
 
give it a little time. Mine started out that way, but eventually all the air got worked out. The system makes ro/di pretty slow, so it will take some time. Idumped all the water it made in the first 24 hours though... Check your TDS before you put it in the tank. the filters will put a little stuff in the water when you fist start the system.. throw that water away!

It's coming out 0 TDS now, after about 10 gallons, I'll let it run a little longer and start using it.
 
I would think it would be okay, I would run some vinigar thru it to clean out any oils or crud that might be in there?? Should be clean, but you know as well as I do, parts stores are not the cleanest places in the world.
