i woke up this morning and my seaclone was
actually skimming, there was stuff in the cup and everything

how did this happen?
did i curse at it more or less than usual last night?
i've spent the whole morning at school trying to

i heard an expression once that comes to mind
i think its like:
the sun even shines on a dog's butt crack once in a while

or something like that
but i'm home now and its doing nothing as usual

Sure they arent great, but if you mod the impeller and adjust the air just right those things can skim pretty good. It impressed me.

i've read all about the mods and i'm sure i'll try a few things

but my frustration is that IT DOSEN'T SKIM
that is not a very good product
I didn't get the skimmer b/c i wanted something to work on
how would you feel if you purchased a car brand new
and then you couldn't drive it?
Oh but wait , just do a few "quick" things under the hood
and it might be able to get you around once in a while

I am not very handy so i keep putting off doing mods
It took a while for me to figure out that i'm not handy
It's not that i don't enjoy fixing or creating things myself
It's that A) i dont have the proper tools, nor can i afford them
& B) the things i work on or create don't enjoy actually working

and who am i to deprive them of their happiness?
