Ok the wife is on the phone with Fwc now. They told her we need a license to sell the corals and fish period end of debate for me. She then inquired about the cost of the license and was transferred to a number that just keeps ringing.

However she did say we could give them away. I personally feel that if this is the case then every LFS in Florida should inform potential customers of this situation before they sell people things that cannot be legally sold by said people without buying a license.

also I feel like I see people freaking out over buying frags as well. You can't get fined for buying corals correct? it's just those selling them without a license that have to worry? just to clarify....

This is a bad example I am selling Coral Frag Plugs 3 for 15 dollars and you get the coral on the frag for free or breaking down system charge more for a power head but give them free corals. Also have raffles for frag auctions and have the money go to the club or something or just have swap meets instead.

Really all it takes is somebody with the time money and legal resource to either sue or challange the FWC until then we just have to be aware of the laws and change the way we do it or take a chance like people do everyday when they speed on the interstate.
