Id like some reviews on the Aqua controller 2 because I may buy one used to controll my heaters and eventually other Stuff. If anyone has owned one or knows the product please let me know what you thought about it and what it can do.

They were great but... I'm not sure I would buy a used one at this point unless it was very cheap and had low hours.

I'd suggest getting a Ranco temp controller to control your heaters.

If u not into all the new monitoring online and just need something to for basic controlling then they are great. If had my ac3 now for 7 years and love it. I even bought a new apex and hated that they sell everything separate by using different modules. So I went back to my ac3

Right but an AC2 could be 19 years old. They're not going to last forever. It's not a good move imho to spend money on a controller that is old enough to vote.

I'd likely get the inkbird and buy a reef controller later on down the road. I don't have experience with them but others seem to like them.

I have had 2 AC2s for many years. I am still running one. Both have been very reliable. The only problem I ever had was when the power went out in a storm, it had to be reset. You can even get internet access to them with a little work.

I was going to sell another of my old controllers, but dicided It made more sense to keep it as the apex does not seam as reliable from what I am reading. That may just be because so many more people have them though. Sp for now I will use both on my new tank.
