Through the Looking Glass

I'm back..... Interesting and sad tale to share but another time for that. Picked up the camera and a couple pictures to share. A little rusty on correcting lighting, but like everything else, it will improve with time again.

Darth maul porites




Almost true color rendition of a blasto colony. I just couldn't correct it so forgive the over saturation although I did not increase saturation one bit.

Always love your shots and that darth maul porites is one of my all time favorite corals.

Thanks guys, starting to work my way back into my reef.


Had this frag for a good while, 1-2 years, I think. Got frustrated with it and was going to cover it up with epoxy to reclaim the real estate so I cut most of the branches off and then decided to give it one more chance to thrive. Just might work out after all.

 
That piece looks like it's going to be gorgeous. Isn't it interesting how long some of these take to get used to our tanks?
 
Nice little piece! Good thing you didn't cover it up. It looks beautiful. Love the hints of yellow with the red and green.

This first picture is with t5's and reefbrite xho. The frag is up high and directly under the reefbrite.




And now with all lights on it, t5's, reefbrite and metal halides



Pretty cool to see the difference in lighting
