tigerpyge on DD

The website is not really up to date. I think he does ship but when I call him tomorrow to see if the fish is mine, I will ask him about shipping. He gets a lot of great fish at great prices

Thanks Ray, just found they have two websites, one for walk in retail and one for online. They do indeed ship across Canada.... Yay! ;)

I'll have to check with them in the future to see what butterflys they have in stock (my QT is full right now)

Hope you get good news on the hybrid.

I patiently waited for somebody to grab her from dd, nobody did and the poor girl needed a home so I offered mine...she will be here Tuesday...

Thanks..I spoke with Kevin before I purchased her and he said she was great looking in person and the only one they have for now...the Colins will be here next week too...

I really like that picture, it is a nice specimen, these hybrids are not always as nice.
You know the origin for the Colini?

Colins from Cocos are rare and have much better survival rate than the Philippines ones,he is not collecting them often as they are deep and he don't like to go after them when he got the Jocs all around , good luck with it, please update.

yeah, I avoid buying fish from a few places, Philipines is one...I waited a long time for a Cocos...the downside on this particular fish is that it is massive and should have been left behind to make more...initially she was not eating but has been doing great the past few weeks...I just hope having her shipped to me will not bother her too much and cause another setback...
she will be here next week...
I was told this is "Biggest "paracentropyge" type I have ever seen" by diver's den...
fingers crossed...

Ted, congrats :)

Ray, if you speak to ken, and he has the second one available too, I want one too :) maybe we can get a deal. I hear u want to QT them for me :D let me know pls.

Not a problem, I will be there at store opening tomorrow. If he has them both, I will pick them up. If you want me to QT them together thats fine, but their is a risk with that. If they fall in love, I migh not be able to separate them

Are hybrids fertile? One of my books (can't remember if it was S. Michael's or Kuiter's?) believed hybrids to be sterile. Curious if anyone has captive bred hybrids together? RCT perhaps?

The fact that it is from Cocos is good.

I personally gave up on Philippines Colini, gave them 6 stars conditions and they will still just die without a reason, better leave them in the ocean.

I'd love to get a Cocos Colini, but every time I had a shipment from there he didn't have any and I didn't want to postpone small Jocs for the Colins.

Good luck with the Jumbo :) , large Centropyge can be tricky, so I guess Paracentropyge are same, but this one is eating already so I'd be happy .

haha thanks man :)

yea I wouldnt be the one to separate a nice pair neither :) if you could possibly keep it for a couple weeks though it would be amazing.
