so in the rain Jay and i moved the 100 gallon starphyre tank into my garage today and luckily no issues haha.

also got my first coat of semi gloss on the new canopy, nothing great to look at yet.

wah, ur making some serious progress! canopy is looking very nice, how high above the rimless r u going to hang it?
 
Interesting look into your world. I'll presume your GF drinks the Corona and you drink the seltzers before you get on that girl's 10 speed. Where did you get those rusty support poles. I wouldn't trust those any more than I'd trust your girl around "The Situation"......

how you able to tell those are cans of seltzer? what are u blowing my pictures up to snoop? ya freak

u failed to mention anything about the cupcake holders though

so i need some help with the new awua scape. i have 2 big SSP colonies that are getting nuked by 2 nems on a single piece of rock, imthinking when i set up the new tank about breaking my sps colonies off, which will not be good for the colony, and repositioning them .

will it be better to just move the colonies in teh long run? i think it will be because i dont want them dying
 
cleaned up the dirty tank, and just like Jays mom, it cleaned up good....

im seriously starting to get excited about re-working this system. anyone interested in some free corals? im gonna chop a bunch of my stuff down and /or just get rid of it when i move the critters over. i love my corals but the brown stuff is going.

im gonna be doing the transfer probably in teh next week or 2. im wondering, should i do 2 40lb bags of sand? or keep the sand bed shallow? hmmm

also, when i transfer the sps im also going to cut the pieces above the STN line and re-glue them onto the rocks
 
yea i cant wait till i get it runnin, itll be super nice to have all that extra space.


Definitely weeding out a bunch of corals when i move everything over. itll be nice to sort things out from the last couple years, and its time to turn a new leaf....


i will be painting the rest of the stand and finishing up the canopy tonight. i figured out the way will be hangin the canopy. thats a step in the right direction!

SO i need an opinion, what color should i paint the back of this tank? i was thinking black, but then i was leaning more toward dark blue? hmmm what d you all think?
 
Hmmm...I would say black but only because I haven't seen one in dark blue...only royal blue.

Excited for ya man! Can't wait to watch things come together!
