First off, welcome! There's all kinds of benefits to being a member of The GIRS. you can save money at participating pet shops by showing them your member card, sell stuff at frag auctions, get to learn tricks of the trade from guest speakers, and go on group trips. Being its only $20 a year it basically pays for itself by just being able to network with fellow reef enthusiasts.

And, if you would like to join you can paypal $20 for single or $30 for family to GIRSTreasurer@gmail.com please be sure to include your real name adress and RC nick when paying. You can also d/l the form and mail it, just look on the website for more information.

I am going to join and try to make the auction. My wife will want be involved as well, so I assume the family memebership at $30. Does she get a card?? Please say yes or my life may be shortened a bit. ;0)

I can put both of your names on the card. Or i can just put your name + family.

If you absolutely need 2 cards i guess we could work something out.

Just sent paypal for single mebership. The wife doesn't seem to be getting into it that much, so I am just a loaner for now. I included the RC username and my fullname with payment, but obviously it is right here as well.

We are currently working on the website list, its got a bunch of old members on there that need to come off and new ones need to be put on. The cards will hopefully get mailed out next week sometime, i would have done it sooner but being the big auction is coming up i figured we could save a lot of stamp money by just handing them out. for those of you who cant make it to the auction will get theirs in the mail.
