Tiny Anemone

Put my tiny E. quad into the tank this weekend. My false percs were hosted by an H. crispa for a few years, so they are ignoring it, which is fine with me for the time being. I fed it some Brine Shrimp plus and it ate it readily. Yesterday it took a dump.

Ima get some raw shrimp to chop up and feed it. It seems pretty healthy. When I placed it in the tank, I cut about a 2" section of PVC to place it in so it wouldn't blow around in the current. It had taken hold in about a minute or so, and since moved about 6" to get its foot into a crevice.

Nice bulbs on the ends of its tenticles. Right now its kinda pink with a bright pink foot, but I suspect its a green color. I'll get some pics up soon.

I was hoping my maroons wouldent find my new bta either.... but they did lol

luckily they still hang out in theyre 10 inch gbta most of the time lol

love to see some pics :)

I don't believe brine shrimp is a good choice for anemones. Raw shrimp is fine, along with silversides, mysis, and krill.

How tiny is this anemone?

Tourkid: Nice looking nem and maroon! I have to admit I laughed when I seen that maroon trying to fit in there! Funny pic!
