Tips and Tricks on Creating Amazing Aquascapes

I love it! If it were my tank, I'd add a bit of small rock to the front right. Perhaps 1/4" the height of the right structure. To create more depth.

More or less like this. It can also probably be created with just frag placement and very little additional rock.

+1 The current layout is too symmetrical. This will break that up. Beautiful minimalist 'scaping otherwise.

Love the stand. Good start on the aquascape. IMHO, the two sections are very "horizontal". Is it possible for you to add some height to one side or the other for contrast? Also consider when you do that, the whole "rule of thirds" approach trying to draw the eye to where those lines intersect.

Changed it up a little bit, and fixed up the stand a bit. I still think it needs some more work but getting there.'

After reading this I redid my rock work. I wasn't satisfied with work I did on Saturday (wall of rocks). This is what I came up with in my 20g long.

It looks great but if you're wanting to change some thing, I would move the structure's one end forward and over some then add a small island on the opposing side

Hello all! I have a 125gal 6' long tank which I'm finding difficult to create depth. I really don't feel like I'm making much progress, I suck at this haha. I've moved the rock so much my fingers are almost raw. I know a lot of you like the minimal look, but I want more rock, so that's what I'm trying to make work.

How about flat plates placed vertically, maybe propped up with branch rock. Or a few shelf rocks laid on their side.

Her is what I put together. I like it a lot and busted my *** getting it in together in 4 pieces. 220g 30" deep is a killer on your arms. Almost too deep. Critique please. All comments welcome.
