Just a thought, take out the rock to the right and replace it with a shelf type structure with a 2 or 3 levels and do not butt it up to the center piece.

That's actually a FW planted tank. :lol2:

What I meant is that SW can learn a lot from FW in that regard; because SW hobby has surpassed FW in all areas except for aquascaping, IMO.

I agree those FW tanks are sick with those hills they make with the dirt, and the rubber pieces they slide into the dirt to hold it in place. I haven't seen anyone attempt that with a SW tank yet. All I've seen are flat sand beds.

God I wish I could find multiple flat rocks like that.

Call BRS and tell them that you would like to place an order for flat rocks and the size and type you are looking for. They will do their best to find you what you are looking for. I just bought some awesome pieces from them. I will post on my build when they are ready. They are currently taking an Acid bath:lol2:

Yeah I was just looking at their tonga shelf rock with Base for 3.99lb. Another site, Macro Rocks has Key Largo Shelf Rock for 3.59lb but doesnt look as natural. Im just wondering how many lbs is in his picture because that roughly what I need, maybe a little more.

I took one of my good size pieces of Flat Rock from BRS, measured and weighed it to give you an idea.

Its 12X9 1.5 Thick and a little over 6Lbs.

I have more pics of the dry rock I received on my build page.
