Well I need to think very carefully about its dimensions. The tank is 30 x 20 x 20". However it will be placed in front of the overflow on the left hand side. So the most room front to back of the tank would be 15".

So, I am thinking its width would be 12". Length from left to right 15 - 16" (I think I will make the arm on the right slightly longer).

And it's height about 13 - 14".

Looking for some comments about these proportions.

I think also I will need to add a small island type structure on the right of the aquarium and further to the back.

Thoughts anyone please?

If you are planning to keep sps, I would not go higher than 12" to give them room to grow. I have a similar structure on an 18" high tank. The waterline is 16" and the highest point on the structure is 10".

Regards,

Thanks! Yes I forgot the waterline will be lower.

I am interested in the cerameco products. where can I buy these? This old thread says they shut down the business?

Are there other alternatives?

Well, I have been waiting since June, yes, you read it correctly. JUNE! Apparently they had some production issues. So not sure how much longer I can wait as I now have my tank and it's ready to be setup.

There are other options available. Just google reef ceramic rock.

HTHs!

Wow, that's interesting. I look forward to see the coral growth.

That's actually a FW planted tank. :lol2:

What I meant is that SW can learn a lot from FW in that regard; because SW hobby has surpassed FW in all areas except for aquascaping, IMO.

Final scape.

Have also added 6 SPS frags, so lighting is 30% down on acclimatisation.

Just the glass to clean and remove the debris from the sand bed.

Sorry for the phone pics
