Tis the season '09

I was wondering what I was gonna use for my office card this year. The Aurora has been lame and I didn't feel like doing the moose thing. My neighbor solved my problem when he lit up a few trees in his front yard!

Seasons are times of year... The Christmas season would be the most common use of the term.

Tom - I used a 1Ds mark3 with a 24-105F4 IS lens tripod mounted.

I did forget to mention that the photo is quite nice, as usual I might add... I really like that style of photo and have never thought of that kind of scenario. I'd seen tents lit from inside, igloos, and the like... but that xmass tree idea is excellent, as is the execution.

Thanks all...it's funny I would just drive by it going to work and every day think that I need to take a picture of it. It just always jumped out at me! Once that fresh snow fell and illuminated it as it did I knew the time had come. Since the Aurora has been so lame lately I was happy to have found another good "winter" themed subject.
