Dear Rvitko,

I have bought the osmolator 3155 along with the calcium dispenser 5074.
After hooking it up with no problems, I have added 3 spoon fulls of calcium hydroxide into the dispenser.
It was until the next day that I have found out the water in the storage container had some milky color to it. THis could only mean one thing, and that is the calcium dispenser must have leaked some of the kalkwasser into the storage container.
I have checked all hose connections, the o-ring on the dispenser along with the check valve, and everything is fine.
Could you tell me if it is normal for the water in the storage container to turn milky from the kalkwasser?
Thanx, Nas.

A short term exposure would not negatively effect the pump. I don't think there is a leak. More likely the check valve is bad or the line from the pump to the calcium dispenser was not tied to a point above the reactor with the provided cable tie. This prevents a back siphon of the contents.
